We stayed at Ingra house hotel for two nights. The hosts were very cordial and we had a pleasant stay. The toilets/baths are shared, so be aware of that. But we encountered no hassles with the same as these were very well maintained. There are rules however and ensuring the fire alarms do not go off.

I've stayed here several times over the last 5 years and look forward to returning next summer. Friendly helpful manager and staff. Very clean bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. I always meet cool people at Ingra House--this time an Australian who was riding his motorcycle through Alaska and the Yukon.

I’ve just finished staying at Ingra house for two weeks to visit Alaska for the first time. I chose it because rooms were affordable, there was kitchen access so I didn’t have to eat out every meal and it’s location to downtown (walking distance). The staff were amazing. Kind, helpful and very intent on security. Room was not fancy but comfortable, quiet. Shared bathrooms were clean and private. Kitchen was clean and stocked with everything needed to cook simple meals. Some travelers and some residents. There is laundry on site if you need it. Very casual but great accommodations. I’d stay there again

I had a very good experience with Ingra House. I made my reservation directly on their web site and had no issues. The area is a bit sketchy, nothing too crazy though. Ingra House takes security seriously; a room key is required to enter the building, and no guests or pets allowed. I felt safe while there. The rooms are small, basic, and clean, and were perfect for what I needed. The bathrooms are "shared", but are for one person at a time with locks on the doors, so privacy was not an issue. The bathrooms were always clean, and I saw staff regularly cleaning them during both days and evenings. And the price can't be beat. I would definitely stay at Ingra House again.

We stayed here one night and it ticked all of our boxes- reasonably priced, well located, and fitted with simple clean rooms as well as good bathroom facilities and showers. Max is a great manager who helped us orient at checkin and prepare for the next day; as we had to leave early in the morning he recommended booking a cab in advance to get to the Alaska Railroad depot for our train to Seward. Thank you Max!

This is the only affordable and well managed place in Anchorage. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel staff are very helpful. The facilities include very clean shared bathrooms, kitchens, and a laundry room. They even have a handicap entrance at the back. I love it. Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what really makes this place special is the wonderful staff—they are so friendly! For such an affordable price, it’s a total gem. I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else next time I’m in town. p.s. Coming from one of the cleanest countries in the world, I have high standards, but this place was truly spotless. Also, even though my English isn't perfect, the staff went above and beyond to support me and gave me so much helpful information. Thank you for everything!
